Episode 48

The Least We Deserved

Football is back - and we reflect on a late point against Forest in a game where frankly we deserved to win.

But we start this week's episode with our thoughts on a challenging subject in football right now - that of racism in the game. We are not here to preach, or to judge, but we feel it's important for us to show our support for Black Lives Matter and - more explicitly - for Sheffield Wednesday FC in their support of players taking the knee before the Forest game.

There is no place for racism in football, or in society, in 2020.

Among the other subjects on the agenda this week are a busy few days of deals and departures, the long awaited short of the EFL hearing into the stadium sale, and of course two games to come in the week ahead.

Plus we hear from Garry Monk and the recalled Joe Wildsmith.
